Jonathan Tower
Mustered into service as a Corporal on July 29th, 1861
Jonathan Tower was wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1st, 1863 and was discharged from the service a year later.
In 1870 he was living in Pendelton, Madison County Indiana with his wife Nancy and their two sons William and John. When the 1880 census was taken Nancy and the two boys were living in Delaware County Indiana. She was listed as being a widow.
It is very possible that Jonathan is buried in Madison or Delaware County and is in a unmarked grave.
