Joseph W. C. Titus known as "Pony" , a lumberman who is well known to nearly all of the older citizens of Marion and Grant County, died at his home, 1911 South George Street, Friday night at 5 o'clock. He had been sick for more than a year with a complication of diseases. He was seventy years of age, was always active in politics in his ward and served as committeeman and delegate to all conventions for a number of years.

 

He is survived by a widow, four sons and two daughters. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, at the residence. Burial in the IOOF cemetery.
