John Thompson

Private Thompson first served in Company I of the 34th Indiana Infantry mustering in on October 9th, 1861 and then mustering out for disability on April 10th, 1863. John was transferred to Company E of the 20th Indiana Infantry in the fall of 1864 serving there until his muster out on July 12th, 1865.

He filed for a pension in April of 1879.
