Samuel Smith

Mustered into service as a Corporal on July 29th, 1861

Samuel Smith was discharged on October 11, 1861 while at Fort Craig in Washington D.C. This man remained with the regiment and was wounded at the Battle of Brawner Farm on August 28th, 1862 and again at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1st, 1863. He mustered out of service in July of 1864.

Corporal Smith is probably the same man as Private Samuel Smith of Company H.
