David Riley Shorter

Buried Pleasant Bethel Cemetery, Owen County Indiana

Private Shorter was wounded at the Battle of Antietam on September 17th, 1862 and would eventually transfer to the Veteran Reserve Corps.

He filed for a pension in September of 1868.
