John Shockley

Mustered into service as a Private on July 29th, 1861

Buried Pleasant Center Cemetery, Butler County Kansas

Private Shockley was admitted to the hospital soon after arriving in Washington D.C. in the late summer of 1861. He came down with a case of remittent fever and would be soon discharged for disability.

He filed for a pension in November of 1877.
