Buried Woodlawn / Maxville Cemetery, Randolph County Indiana

Private Semans was wounded in the shoulder at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1st, 1863. He was again wounded at the Battle of Cold Harbor on May 12th,1864. He would muster out of the service holding the rank of Sergeant.

He filed for a pension in April of 1868.
