David Phipps

Private Phipps was promoted to Corporal by 1863 and was wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1st, 1863. He was one of the many soldiers wounded that day carrying the flag. David mustered out of the service in July of 1864.
He filed for a pension in January of 1865.
