James R. Nash

Mustered into service as a Corporal on July 29th, 1861

Died 25 October 1915

Buried South Park / Greenlawn Cemetery, Morgan County Indiana

Corporal Nash eventually obtained the rank of Captain when he left the service in the fall of 1864. He was wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1st, 1863.

He filed for a pension in August of 1883.
