William E. Murray

Private Murray was wounded in the left ankle at the Battle of Brawner Farm on August 28th, 1862. He was discharged from the service holding the rank of Sergeant on March 3rd, 1863 because of this wound.
After the war William worked for many years in Washington D.C. at the Pension office.
He filed for a pension in May of 1863.
