William F. Morris

Mustered into service as a Private on July 29th, 1861

Private Morris was wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1st, 1863. In the fall of 1864 he transferred to Company A of the 20th Indiana Infantry where he served until his muster out as a Corporal on July 12th, 1865.

He filed for a pension in April of 1876.
