Thomas McKim

Mustered into service as a Private on July 29th, 1861

 

Private McKim was holding the rank of Sergeant at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1st, 1863. One source says he was wounded and was discharged because of those wounds in November of that same year.

Thomas never filed for a pension.

 

His mother and father, John and Keziah McKim, both died in 1874 and are buried at the Spartanburg Cemetery in Randolph County Indiana.
