Mustered into service as a Private on July 29th, 1861

Private Wyman received a gun shot wound to the head in the summer of 1862 while in Virginia. He was discharged on November 12th, 1862 while at Alexandria Virginia.

He filed for a pension in April of 1866 and his wife Mary filed for a widows pension in February of 1887.
