William Keene

Mustered into service as a Private on August 29th, 1862

Died 22 December 1898

Buried Prospect Hill Cemetery, Cass County Michigan

Private Keene was wounded at the Battle of Petersburg Virginia on June 18th, 1864. In the fall of that year he was transferred to Company E of the 20th Indiana Infantry were he finish his service.

He filed for a pension in September of 1865.
