William A. Horney

Private Horney came down with a case of measles in the late winter of 1861 soon after the regiment arrived in Washington D.C. He returned to the regiment but it was determined he was still sick so they sent him back to the hospital on February 26th, 1862. He would die the next month of pneumonia.
