George Garrison

Mustered into service as a Private on July 29th, 1861

Private Garrison was accidentally shot in the right heel while at Fort Craig Virginia on March 15th, 1862 and was discharged from the service because of that wound on November 3rd, 1862 in Providence Rhode Island.

He filed for a pension in 1888 and lived many years in the Soldiers Home located in Grant County Indiana. He was discharged from the home for the last time on April 30th, 1913.
