James S. Drum

Mustered into service as Quartermaster on July 29th, 1861

Quartermaster Drum was promoted to Captain in March of 1863 and was ordered to report to General Burnside for duty in the west. He was  in Nicholasville Kentucky when he became sick and died of disease.

 

His widow Missouri filed for a pension in May of 1863.
