William Crum

Mustered into service as a Private on July 29th, 1861

Died 14 September 1862

 

Private Crum was killed in action at the Battle of South Mountain on September 14th, 1862.

 

Unknown burial location.

 

On November 8th, 1862 his widow Martha Ann filed for a 'widows' pension.

William had three sons at the time of his death. John age 9, Frances age 5 and William Jr. just 7 months old.
