Anthony Pitman Carr

Buried Steilacoom ( Old ) Masonic Cemetery, Pierce County Washington
Private Carr was hit by a shell that broke his arm in three places during the battles of August 1862. He was discharged from the service because of disability on March 14th, 1863 but re-enlisted as a substitute in Company H of the 34th Indiana Infantry.
He received a pension after the war.
