William A. Burres

Mustered into service as a Private January 13th, 1862

It is believed that William A. Burres mustered out of the 19th Indiana not to long after his muster in date of January 13th, 1862.

On August 11th, 1862 William A. Burres received a commission for Second Lieutenant for Company A of the 84th Indiana Infantry. He mustered in on December 29th, 1862 and was honorably discharged on October 3rd, 1864. This William Burres filed for a pension on October 29th, 1864.

By July of 1890 a "minor" pension was filed and granted indicating that William had died sometime prior.

This is probably one and the same person.

Exact date of death and burial location are unknown.
