George V. Beetley

Mustered into service as a Private on July 29th, 1861

Died  30 April 1918

Buried IOOF Cemetery, Jay County Indiana

Private Beetley was promoted to Corporal during his time with the 19th Indiana and had that rank when he left the service in 1864. He would again join the army in February of 1865 as a Sergeant of Company I of the 147th Indiana Infantry. He mustered out of service on August 4th, 1865.

He started to receive a pension in 1876.
