Ahab K. Ball

Private Ball was assigned to General McDowell's Headquarters in the spring of 1862 and remained there until he was assigned as a wagoneer. He deserted on April 11th, 1863.

 

On April 29th, 1863 a "Ahab K. Ball" enlisted as a recruit for the 15th Indiana Light Artillery Battery. He deserted on an unknown date.

This man died sometime before April of 1900. A widows pension was filed on April 28th, 1900 but was denied.

Mustered into service as a Private on July 29th, 1861

Died 14 May 1898

Buried East Haven Cemetery, Wayne  County Indiana

 

 

East Haven Cemetery no longer exists. All 84 graves are unmarked.
