George Allmon

Mustered into service as a Corporal on July 29th, 1861

Buried Antietam National Cemetery, Sharpsburg Maryland

Corporal Allmon was wounded at the Battle of Antietam on September 17th, 1862 and would die from those wounds the following month.

His father Israel found it necessary to file for a "fathers" pension in 1883.

The correct spelling is Allmon and not Allman.
