Owen Ruddick

Mustered into service as a Private on July 29th, 1861

 

Private Ruddick was severely wounded in the bowels at the Battle of South Mountain on September 14th, 1862 and would soon die from those wounds.

 

Exact date of death and burial location unknown. One source says he died two days after the battle.

 

He held the rank of Corporal when he died.
