Private Ribble was wounded in the chest at the Battle of Antietam on September 17th, 1862. He was soon discharged for disability and returned to Indiana.
He filed for a pension in January of 1863.
Andrew was killed in a accident while working for the Bellefontaine Railroad as a brakman.
