Allen W. Ogborn

Buried Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wayne County Indiana

Corporal Ogborn was wounded in the arm at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1st, 1863. He eventually taken to General Hospital in Philadelphia Pennsylvania where gangrene set in that resulted in his death on the 18th of that same month. At the time of his death he held the rank of Sergeant.
