John B. Knight

Private Knight was one of the few soldiers from the 19th Indiana that would muster in when the regiment was first formed in 1861 and serve to the very end of the war mustering out in July of 1865. In the fall of 1864 he transferred to the 20th Indiana Infantry with the other surviving members of the 19th.
He filed for a pension in 1890.
