Rufus King

Before serving in the 19th Indiana Private King was in Company D of the 124th Pennsylvania Infantry. He mustered into that regiment on August 11th, 1862 and mustered out on May 15th, 1863. Soon after he mustered into the 19th Indiana the regiment was folded into the 20th Indiana Infantry where he served until his muster out as a 1st Sergeant on July 12th, 1865.
He filed for a pension in November of 1888.
