Original Headstone
At first this veteran was thought to be in a unmarked grave . After some research by Greg Tompkins the original headstone was found half buried in the ground down a steep hill located on the backside of the cemetery. With the help of two dedicated men, John Modlin and Keith Sherman, the stone was retrieved, cleaned and returned to the original burial location.
