Nathaniel A. Collins

Private Collins was wounded at the Battle of Antietam on September 17th, 1862. He would be discharged the following January because of disability.

 

He filed for a pension in October of 1878.

 

Nathaniel's father Henry M. Collins also served in the Civil War. He served in Company D of the 22nd Iowa Infantry.
