Thomas Barnett was the Chaplain of the 19th Indiana from early in 1863 until his resignation on July 5th, 1864 because of his impared vocal organs.
After the war he attended the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Loius Missouri where he bacame a Physician.
Thomas filed for a pension in the 1870's.
