James Adams

Private Adams was wounded a the Battle of Brawner Farm on August 28th, 1862 and again on June 18th, 1864 at the Battle of Petersburg Virginia. In the fall of 1864 he was transferred to Company C of the 20th Indiana Infantry where he remained until his muster out because of disability on February 20th, 1865 holding the rank of Sergeant.

 

He filed for a pension in February of 1864.
